As part of their inquiry into the Interdisciplinary Unit “How We Organize Ourselves,” students in the “Clam” section spoke via Microsoft Teams with a parent whose profession involves research. He presented his role in society to the students.  Practicing their social and communications skills, students wanted learn more about the machinery and equipment that analyze the composition of foods and various objects around us. The parent, using appropriate visuals, answered the students’ questions about the use of this type of equipment, explaining how it benefits the community.
