Betsy Brown Braun Speaks to Parents about the Pandemic

On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, Betsy Brown Braun, an internationally renowned specialist in child development and behavioral issues, gave an online talk to parents of our School on “Parenting in a Pandemic.” Betsy Brown Braun answered questions that parents had posed online to the College’s Psychoeducational Department about issues that have surfaced during the pandemic.

A little about Betsy Brown Braun

Betsey Brown Braun holds degrees from Pfizer College and Pacific Oaks College, California and is the author of best-selling, award-winning books, Just Tell Me What to Say (HarperCollins 2008) and You’re Not the Boss Of Me (HarperCollins, 2010). She provides guidance to schools and parents and is founder of Parenting Pathways®, Inc.

She has made guest appearances, sharing her parenting advice, on television and radio programs, such as The Today Show and Good Morning America. Additionally, she is a parenting columnist for the Palisadian-Post and has had articles featured in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.

She leads parenting groups and lectures in schools and businesses around the world. With over forty-five years of experience in public and private education in the United States, Ms. Braun has directed and developed school programs for public and private schools.  She founded and directed the Wilshire Boulevard Early Childhood Center in Los Angeles.

She is the mother of triplets and grandmother of six children.
