Update regarding Mathematics Competition “Pythagoras”

Jan 21, 2021

Kantza, January 21, 2021

Dear Parents,

We wish to advise you that the Hellenic Mathematical Society announced that the 3rd annual Mathematical Competition “Pythagoras” has been moved from Saturday, February 13, 2021 to Saturday, April 3, 2021.

As you have already been informed, the competition is open to students in primary grade 2 through high school grade 12 and will be held online this year. Consequently, the Hellenic Mathematical Society (HMS) will create a username and password for each student that registers.  Usernames and passwords will be sent by HMS to the School, which in turn will forward them to the email that you have declared on the Registration Form.

In order to better process the data that you will declare, the School has created an online form that you will find at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe5vdSNy4q8Aaqga2NRjkFG0Yz5VEGa_cZ_YLNHpai2Dz2fYA/viewform

The form consists of 3 pages and you must complete all questions with an asterisk (*).  In order to enter your answers, you must click on the Submit button at the end of the 3rd page.  For detailed instructions on how to complete the form, see the attached file “«Οδηγός συμπλήρωσης φόρμας για τον διαγωνισμό Πυθαγόρας» (available in Greek only).

Attention:  In order for your child’s participation to be valid, you must submit the completed Registration Form along with the €10 fee which corresponds to the annual subscription to the magazine “Pythagoras.”

Students can bring the exact fee, placed in an envelope, as well as the registration form to Ms. Alexandra Giannakopoulou, at the Central Secretariat, any day between Friday January 22, and Monday, March 22, 2021.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Sincerely yours,

Loukas Zachos
Director
