Athens College students watched an online lecture by the Head of the School’s Medical Services, pediatrician Dr. Antonios Makris entitled “COVID-19 . The Pandemic and Inoculation”.

Among other things, Dr. Makris spoke of all the measures that had been taken at the College as of last academic year for the prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus and made a historical review on other pandemics in humanity and how they were treated.

Furthermore, he spoke of the dominant variant of COVID-19 today globally, the Delta variant, which may also infect children.

Dr. Makris stressed that the only way to protect ourselves from the new coronavirus and all its variants is by complying with protection measures and by getting vaccinated.
