Yannis Manuelides graduated from Athens College in 1976 and holds degrees from Princeton University (AB Philosophy, 1980), University of Chicago (MA Philosophy, 1983) and Cambridge University (BA Law, 1985). He is an English-qualified lawyer, a former member of the Paris Bar and a partner at the law firm of Allen & Overy in London. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Center of Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary, University of London, a trustee of the Hellenic Foundation, and a member of the International Law Association’s working group on Sovereign Debt.
